Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-24

This policy covers Gobadiah Inc. and its products. Today that means the LogLens for CloudWatch Chrome extension; it applies to future products except where a product states otherwise. It explains, plainly, what our software does and does not do with your data.

LogLens for CloudWatch

LogLens is a Chrome extension that reformats the AWS CloudWatch Logs console in your browser.

What it processes

The extension reads the log text already rendered on the CloudWatch Log events page — solely to reformat it in place (convert timestamps to your local time, project JSON fields into columns, and make JSON collapsible). This processing happens entirely on your own device, inside your browser.

What it collects and transmits

Nothing about your logs. The extension does not collect, store, or transmit your log content, your AWS credentials, or any browsing activity. No log data ever leaves your browser. There is no analytics or tracking of any kind.

The only network request the extension makes is to validate your license key with our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, when you enter or re-check a key (endpoint api.lemonsqueezy.com). That request contains only the license key and an anonymous activation identifier — never any log data. The result is cached locally so the extension keeps working offline.

Local storage

Your settings (such as which columns to show) and your license status are stored locally in the browser via chrome.storage.local and stay on your device.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Any payment or billing information you provide is processed by Lemon Squeezy under their privacy policy; our software never receives or stores it.
